Join the Conversation on Bio-Stimulants – Take this Short Survey
Kansas State University wants to hear from farmers, crop consultants, researchers, and agricultural professionals on how bio-stimulants are being used in real-world farming systems.
According to the United States Department of Agriculture, a bio-stimulant is defined as “a substance or micro-organism that, when applied to seeds, plants, or the rhizosphere, stimulates natural processes to enhance or benefit nutrient uptake, nutrient efficiency, tolerance to abiotic stress, or crop quality and yield.’’ A key distinction between bio-stimulant products and fertilizers is that bio-stimulants do not directly provide essential nutrients; however, they could help improve nutrient uptake and assimilation. This survey will include questions about farm/research information, knowledge, and use of these products, challenges, and future outlooks.
Your experience matters. Whether you currently use bio-stimulants or are simply familiar with them, your input can help guide future research and Extension programming for farmers.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and help us better understand the role of bio-stimulants in agriculture.
