CELab Expertise
The Crop Ecophysiology Lab (CELab) has extensive knowledge and expertise, facilities and equipment for addressing the impacts of abiotic stresses (drought, high day- and night-time temperatures, cold and salinity) on grain crops (wheat, sorghum, rice, soybean, canola and pearl millet).
The CELab has developed necessary plant phenotyping (field-based and controlled environmental conditions) methods to explore, identify and validate promising traits and/or physiological mechanisms inducing resilience to abiotic stresses in field crops.
