North Central Kansas Experiment Field Fall Field Day - August 18

All are invited to the North Central Kansas Experiment Field Fall Field Day on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, starting at 5:30 PM. This year’s field day will feature K-State specialists discussing current research and management considerations for corn, sorghum, soybeans, and weed control.

Intersection of 60 Road and Highway 36
(3 miles east of Courtland or 2.5 miles west of Scandia)

• Nitrogen fertilizer options to improve nitrogen use efficiency in corn and sorghum – Dorivar Ruiz-Diaz
• AMS rates and AMS alternatives for glufosinate applications – Sarah Ganske
• Learning the best management practices in irrigated soybeans – Katie Janzen

A free dinner will be served following the presentations.

The field day provides an opportunity to hear about current K-State research, visit with specialists, and ask questions about crop management practices relevant to Kansas producers.
