Considerable emphasis has been placed on use of efficient cropping practices in small grain
cereals and alfalfa, including use of quality wheat seed, genetic gain in low-yield environments,
kernel hardness, wheat grazing potential, wheat variety selection in low pH and low fertility soils
and stressed environments, and crop rotations.

  • Crop production and physiology with emphasis on cropping systems
  • Extension methodology and technology transfer
  • International agriculture
