Dr. Bruno Pedreira is an Assistant Professor of Agronomy (Extension Specialist/Regional Agronomist) at Kansas State University houses at Southeast Research and Extension Center (Parsons, KS) and Adjunct Professor in the Animal Science Graduate Program at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (Sinop, Brazil). He got his B.S. degree in Agronomy from 'Federal University of Lavras', Lavras, Brazil. He pursued his M.S., Ph.D., and Post-doctoral in Animal Science and Pasture from ESALQ/University of São Paulo, Piracicaba, Brazil. Worked as a Researcher at Embrapa Agrossilvipastoril (2010-2021), Mato Grosso, Brazil.

His research program on "Forage & Crop-Livestock Systems" explores the contribution of harvest management, fertility management, weed control, and crop-pasture-livestock systems to enhanced land-use efficiency and profitability. This applied research program generates information to support an active and innovative extension educational program in sustainable agricultural systems, addressing the critical needs of producers.

He has been reviewing for several International Journals: Crop Science, Agronomy Journal, European Journal of Agronomy, Grass and Forage Science, Agricultural Systems, Crop, Forage and Turfgrass, Grassland Science, etc. He is a member of the Kansas Forage and Grassland Council, American Forage Grassland Council, Crop Science Society of America, American Society of Agronomy, Brazilian Society of Animal Science, and Brazilian Society of Integrated Systems. He serves as Associate Editor for the “Crop, Forage and Turfgrass Management” Journal.
