The Agronomy Education Center Project

Agronomy Education Center

The proposed Agronomy Education Center will be located on the agronomy farm near the main campus of Kansas State University in Manhattan. The Agronomy Education Center would positively impact students of all ages, the university, corporate partners, and agriculturalists across the state, region, and world by enhancing our educational mission to serve the 3000+ individuals who utilize the agronomy farm each year. The new center would facilitate the following:

  • Access to modern, climate-controlled teaching facilities directly adjacent to field research and demonstration areas
  • Experiential education with hands-on learning
  • Utilization of the agronomy learning farm to its full capacity
  • Technology sharing with research and industry partners, agricultural producers, students, and extension personnel
  • Continuing education with practitioners
  • Education and outreach activities reaching people from school-age youth through professional levels - reaching diverse and urban audiences
You are invited to contribute to our goal of enhancing the educational mission of the agronomy farm.
